This is the most important quality of an essential piece of clothing. Color is key factor; this piece must work with different outfits to maximise your variety of paring pieces.
Your skirt must be great to attend an interview or to go to a date night!
FIT is important
Tighter does not mean better. The fit must hug your curves, but never be painted on. You don’t want to look like you gain too much weight and trying to squish in a smaller size…
Quality must be exceptional
The rule of buying a key piece is to pick the most expensive you can afford.
Don’t break the bank...
But remember this piece is an investment and it must serve you for a long time.
Don’t buy trendy
Go for a classic cut and with no embellishments. Fashion changes fast and the only way to be always AHEAD is to be timeless, if you can’t tell if this pieces is 2013 or 1995 collection then you are good to purchase your BASIC.
Your little black skirt should make you feel confident
You’re a woman and you are wearing a power piece, Confidence is Power, so if you feel like you look good it’s because you do.
Last but not least
Know your style, don’t let someone decide for you; don’t try following the latest trend if it does not represent you or your style. AND most of all NEVER look at the size, pick the way clothes fit you, don’t let a number dictate what’s right or wrong for your body.
