Whether it’s Vrai or Faux, fur seems to be showing up all over the catwalks and on the backs of celebrities - like Kim Kardashian and stylist Rachel Zoe - for the Fall/Winter season. Everything from coats and vests to scarves and hats, a little is all you need to make a big statement.
Gone are the days when people thought that wearing fur meant donning real skins; animal-lovers and fashionistas alike can still get the quality looks they want without having to worry about the fate of their furry little friends.
This season, luxury brands like Michael Kors and Robert Rodriguez are offering faux fur pieces in a wide array of bright and bold colours. Dress down a fur vest with a turtleneck and skinny jeans or dress it up with that long-sleeve black dress you’ve got hanging in your closet.
Looks like function and fashion are going to go hand-in-hand this fall, so whether you’re wearing the real thing or an animal-friendly version, you know you can stay warm and look good doing it!
